Back from the dead, I am. Here's my picks. PEACE!

10) Gwangi (always loved this guy, and hunted to find the occasional
airing when I was a tyke. Beast of Hollow Mountain is an almost-tie,
along with all other Harryhausen creatures.)
9) Bruce the Shark (original 'JAWS' only; still packs an emotional
wallop; still afraid of the water 27 years later... I close my eyes,
and I hear that damn theme!)
8) Frankenstein Monster (no one can touch Karloff's brilliant
interpretation... even to this day.)
7) The Thing (I love BOTH versions of this film & both monsters)
6) Werewolf (Lon Jr. for class, American Werewolf for scares 'n'
laughs)
5) King Ghidorah (the baddest of space monsters; living destruction)
4) Dracula (suave & savage, romantic & ruthless; the essence of evil)
3) King Kong (in all his incarnations, though the first was by far
the best)
2) Alien (pure killing machines; these things scared the crap outta
me when I saw the first film - they still do!)
1) Godzilla (they don't call him the King of the Monsters for
nothin' folks. 27 films, and still going strong!)
