Hi Dean,
I would agree with that. It just seemed too...I dunno. Not really
the feeling of horror that one would expect. More of a lech, sort
of. Spencer Tracey is a great actor who I truly respect, and in
fact just saw him in a great non-genre film last night "Fury", but
in this one, he just wasn't right for the part, it seems. I'm
looking forward to seeing the Frederic March version later this
month on TCM.
