This giant comic was my first introduction to the Mighty Kong. It
would be years before I saw the movie, and even longer before I
stumbled across the novelization (featuring a delicious Frank
Frazetta cover), but when I did I already knew the story of Kong's
rise and fall. Alberto Giolitti was the artist, and the guy who gave
us years of Honkers in Turok-Son of Stone was more than up to the
task of bringing Kong to the comics page. I lost track of my original
copy of this comic, but I replaced it a few years back and enjoyed it
all over again.

They don't make 'em like this anymore, and sadly I think they've
forgotten how.
