King Kong versus Godzilla was likely the first Big G movie I ever
saw. WSAZ out of Huntington, West Virginia ran all-night monster
flicks on Halloween and that movie was a staple. (That's where I saw
my first Hammer films too.) It is a creaky old thing these days, but
as a kid in forbidden zone of two a.m. it seemed tasty fruit indeed.
About the beer, I agree. The first one tastes pretty lousy, but it's
amazing how much better it gets...for a while.
