Re: Return to Salem's Lot

I remember seeing the original Salem's Lot many, many years ago while
in high school. There are still scenes and moments that stand out.
That kids that floats in the window! Crap! I kept my curtains drawn
for a LONG time after that! I thought David Soul was a nice choice.
Not the typical type for this sort of movie. However, if memory
serves, he was riding high on the 'Starsky & Hutch' wave at that
time, which is probably the most likely reason he was cast.

I seem to remember catching the sequel, but my memory's hazy on this
one. I like Larry Cohen's films. "Q" "The Stuff" and the "It's
Alive" trilogy are very effective, off-beat movies. His work is very
unique.

Does anyone know if Return to Salem's Lot is on video or DVD? I re-
rented the first one a couple of years ago. Wouldn't mind grabbing
both for the video library.
