http://groups.Hi members,
There are still 12 spaces available for next weeks event, Segway training and rides compliments of Segway of Jacksonville, and a meet and greet with the Jacksonville Film Committee, including the Mayor and City Administrator.
This will be fun and informative. See below for all the info.
RSVP back to sofat@yahoogroups.com if you can come.
If there are any spaces left by end of Saturday, I'll put it out to potential SOFaT members, but for now, its members only.
Even if you aren't one of the first 25 to respond, there could be cancellations, and the chance to talk about filming in Jacksonville will be a great opportunity, plus there will be wine and hors d'oeuvres served.

SPECIAL EVENT: RIDE THE SEGWAY!
Now how fun is this going to be?! Segway of Jacksonville, a new Associated Business member, is sponsoring the evenings gathering and offering free training and rides on their fleet of Segways. They can only handle up to 25 people in the time we have, so please RSVP and reserve your spot. And let's brainstorm with Segway of Jacksonville and talk about how these amazing vehicles can have some film applications, whether its getting around the set, using as a camera platform, or providing your clients a great way to enjoy their time in Southern Oregon.
SPECIAL DISCUSSION: JACKSONVILLE BACK ON THE MAP FOR FILMING
Jacksonville has been too long gone from the radar for filming, a real shame with their wealth of great locations. But a new group of residents, business owners and civic leaders is ready to change that. Please come and join the discussion on how to make Jacksonville a film-friendly place and be a strong draw for the region. The Mayor of Jacksonville and the City Administrator will be there, so this is the chance to really make an impact.
Please wear sensible clothes for your Segway experience - no sandals or flip flops. Don't forget to RSVP.
See you there!
