We have quite a bit here in the valley, and it is probably enough to warrant some kind of emailable and web-accessible production guide (a lot of it is listed in the OMPA guide, but finding the Southern Oregon specific companies would be a tedious process). It just needs someone with the time and basic skills to put it together. But until then, if you want to pass along my info to that LA company, I can let them know what we've got that might work for them.
To all SOFATers, if you've got something akin to a production entity - be it production, post-production, rental gear, etc. - something other than labor - let me know that too.

While helping to organize activities for the Rogue
Independent Film Festival, I talked to an L.A. company
that asked about local production and post facilities
here. Rental, editing, etc. Anything that would
support an active film production community. I'm aware
of some but would like to develop as complete a list
as possible. If you know of something, please let me
know, either through the list or directly, within the
next couple of weeks. Also, if you're aware of any
weaknesses, anything missing, please let me know that,
too.
