Dear Industry Partners,
With great appreciation to all of you who contacted your legislators regarding the proposed expansion of the Oregon Production Investment Fund, I am happy to report that the legislation passed its final hurdle this afternoon and will now go to Governor Kulongoski for signature.
The legislation expands the goods/services incentive to 20% (up from 10%), removes the per project cap (previously $250,000/project) and raises the amount of tax credits that can be sold to fund the program from $1 million to $5 million per year.
Governor Kulongoski and several key legislators, particularly Senator Deckert, worked very hard to make sure that this program made it through the legislative process and we owe them a debt of gratitude for making this possible.
