I emailed Steve Oster at the Oregon Film Office about writing a letter if you can't attend any of the meetings to voice your opinion about their budget being cut. Here's what he wrote back:

It also helps for folks to write their legislators to also let them know, as is the full legislative body that will eventually vote on the budget. Here is the link that can be used to identify who an individual's legislators are:
Our marketing budget request is part of what is called the CHAMP (culture, heritage, arts, movies, preservation) reinvestment package, which also includes Oregon Public Broadcasting and the Oregon Arts Commission. All of our agencies were severely cut in the Co-Chairs' budget. If any of your folks want to know more about the overall CHAMP package, the website is www.CHAMPday.org
