Hi all,

Thanks Gary for setting me up with the group!  

Just moving to Ashland from Santa Barbara..the lowdown:

I producing 2 indie documentaries in association with The International Documentary

Association as my non-profit sponsor.  My focus is social issues and shedding light

on difficult subjects.   I've got 2 more days of filming for one doc, which

is now in fund raising stage for final filming and editing.  The other is in the

fairly early stages of filming, and fund raising is ongoing.  I self-distribute  a

doc I made worldwide, work freelance or on projects, lend a hand with launching

projects, teach documentary production, write grants, do casting..whatever it

takes to indulge in my doc work.

My background is producing for NBC, ABC News in NY, Discovery Channel, MTV

and for political media consultants in DC on presidential and gubernatorial campaigns

and public interest pieces.  I've been a story analyst for TV movies,

produced corporate image pieces, done casting, and I write, produce, pre-interview,

research, do grant and project development and grant writing.  

I will likely need to call on the community here for various production related

needs.   Would love to know of any doc filmmakers in the area.
