Hey everyone.
I'm new to this forum, but have always loved Super 8. When I was a
kid, I had a movie theater in my basement, in which I showed all the
old Blackhawk/Castle Films to the neighborhood kids. In film school,
I shot a 16 mm film which incorporated 8 mm footage blown up to 16 for
aesthetic effect.
Now, as part of my work as a film historian, I'm trying to track down
a film that I know was released on 8 MM or Super 8 back in the 60s or
70s for home collectors. It's called "When Lincoln Paid". I have
access to a 35 MM archive copy but it's missing the first scene and
the last two or three shots. I would love to get my hands on a
complete copy of the 8 MM version.
Any help I could get would be greatly appreciated.
