Home Movie Day is an annual, worldwide event luring neglected 8/16mm
films out of attics and onto screens for participants to watch &
enjoy. Home movies offer a unique "You Are There" view of past decades
and are an important part of America's cultural history.
HOW IT WORKS: Bring one or more reels of 8mm, Super8 or 16mm home
movies and we'll project one reel on a first-come, first-served basis.
Damaged films cannot be screened but preservation will offer expert
advice on caring for at-risk materials. Transfer services are not
provided, but film-transfer and film-care info is available.
No films of your own? Join us for the screenings! It's free & FUN!
