There is a brand new website – Independent Films Direct  - dedicated to promoting global independent film and independent filmmakers. (directors, writers, boom operators, actors, P.A.'s, every person and any business involved in low budget films).

A front-page feature article about the Indian lesbian film, "When Kiran Met Karen", was just posted to the site.   

The site's mission is to promote indie films and filmmakers that are not getting critical exposure on other websites.  The site is devoted to the underdog films/filmmakers, particularly micro-budget films looking for an audience, for a theatrical distributor, or a spike in online sales.
