One option would be to mail the film to your
destination. You could mail it to your hotel, or you
could send it to the city's post office by general
delivery. That means you are mailing it to the local
post office and can pick it up by showing an ID. But I
guess there's the possibility they will X-Ray the film
at some point. Maybe write "film - please do not
X-Ray" on the package.
I get a little grief at the airport when I take my
16mm Cine Kodak Movie Camera. It's odd-looking, and
the Kodak C-clamp style handle I attached looks even
stranger! But after inspection, I have no problems,
and the X-Ray doesn't seem to affect the film. I've
used several types. I'm not sure, but I think X-Ray
only affects film that is ASA 800 and above.

I know, I guess they're above all that. Their phone
service, which I haven't tried in awhile, is pretty
bad, too. The connection is always poor, and the
operators are rude and unhelpful. If they intend on
staying relevant, they will have to work on customer
service. I love Kodak, I'm just giving honest accounts
of my experience.
