Welcome to Simply Tamara Braun.

Born April 18, and raised in Evanston, Illinois, Tamara Braun didn’t just stumble into acting, she first explored the professional area her parents had chosen- psychology-before attending the prestigious RADA program in England and Piven Theatre in Chicago before becoming GH's second "Carly Corinthos" from 2001 to 2005.
In April of 2005, Tamara chose to spread her wings and seek roles outside of soaps. As she made the rounds seeking her next acting challenge, she was amazed to discover that her years of fine work on GH had been noticed by many of those who now auditioned her for new projects! At the same time, Tamara returned to acting classes in order to continue honing her craft. Her hard work paid off when she landed a starring role as a young Cajun beauty in the independent film "Little Chenier", which wrapped production in Southwestern Louisiana in September, 2005. Tamara also made two guest appearances on Freddie Prinze, Jr.'s ABC sitcom "Freddie" as well as many other episodic television appearances before landing the role of 'Ava', Steve Johnson's ex-flame on "Days of Our Lives" from February to August, 2008. Presently, Tamara can be seen in the groundbreaking role of 'Reese Williams', Bianca's lesbian fiancee on "All My Children". Soon to be released is "Leave Bad Enough Alone" and "Limbo Lounge".

Having completed her work as Reese, Tamara has returned to Los Angeles to her longtime boyfriend and her Miniature Daschund Barley. Tamara donates her time graciously to many charities and is helping to fight Prop 8 in California.
