Hi there,
I am one of the Volunteer Coordinators with the San Francisco Jewish Film
Festival and we are looking for volunteers to work shifts at this year's
Festival. Please read on if you are interested.
Dear Prospective SFJFF Volunteer:
Volunteering for SFJFF is a great way to see some films, meet new people,
support independent cinema, and have fun. The Festival runs from July 23 – Aug.
10 at multiple venues. We need volunteers at the following venues this year: The
Castro Theater in San Francisco, Roda Theater in Berkeley, CineArts in Palo Alto
and other various event venues in San Francisco. Volunteer duties include
Theater operations, press office support, and event support.
To volunteer for SFJFF we ask you to do the following things:
*Register for SFJFF Shiftboard at www.shiftboard.com/sfjff
*Attend one of our orientation sessions – Dates will be announced soon!
*Be flexible and open-minded while working your shifts
*Stay in communication – If you have any questions or comments you can always
contact us!
In return we will do the following things:
*Give you a free film voucher for each shift you work
*Give you a Festival t-shirt to keep
*Throw you an appreciation party at the end of the Festival
*Provide you with snacks and beverages at the venues
*Stay in communication – We will get you the updates and information needed to
maximize your volunteering experience!
We hope that you will pursue becoming a volunteer for the SFJFF and register on
Shiftboard today. Please feel free to distribute this information to interested
parties. Thanks!
