SHOW: MAIDS & MATRONS, by Kathryn G. McCarty
Seeking experienced comic actors (M & F). MAIDS & MATRONS, is a screwball
comedy, written in response to CA recent Prop 8 vote.
As Journalist Sally Hogarty wrote (In the Oakland Tribune & Walnut Creek
Journal) after attending a reading of the play:
"The groom is late, the bride is allergic to the flowers in her bouquet, the
wedding planner has designed bridesmaid dresses from Hell and the town matriarch
has just died with no place to put her coffin but the room where the wedding
party is dressing. And, that's just the beginning!"
Rehearsals begin Late May. Seeking several additional cast members. Please

Auditions: JUNE 27, to be held on the SS Red Oak Victory
Currently in its 4th leg of development, the musical RIVETS! will be performed
aboard the SS Red Oak Victory in August/Sept. 2009. Rehearses in Late July.
Previous press for the show - which sold out repeatedly when it played on the
Ship last Fall - has been tremendous -- read press clips/reviews on
Galateanplayers.com. The writers have continued to develop the show, and
several new songs will be added.
Rosie the Riveter & The "Homefront Soldiers" of WW2 in the Kaiser Richmond
Shipyard are the subjects of The World Premiere Musical RIVETS by Kathryn G.
McCarty (libretto) and Mitchell Covington (music), on the SS Red Oak Victory at
the site of the historic Kaiser Richmond Shipyards. Performed Onboard the
