San Francisco Film Society presents
SFFS Film Arts Forum: Online Distribution
February 9 at Mezzanine, 7:30 pm
The latest SFFS Film Arts Forum -- the Film Society's bimonthlyinformation-sharing, discussion, networking, professional-developmentjamboree -- will assemble a panel to debate, demystify, and debunkonline distribution in all its varying forms.
Panelists include Larry Daressa, codirector of California Newsreel;Danae Ringelman, cofounder of IndieGoGo; attorney George Rush; andfilmmaker Tiffany Shlain. Noted Bay Area film journalist Michael Foxwill moderate. Also attending the event will be representatives fromYouTube, Landmark Theatres, Wholphin, Caachi and more, all of whom willbe available after the panel to continue the conversation.
The event will be on Monday, February 9, at Mezzanine. Doors at 7 pmwith the panel at 7:30 pm. Tickets are $5 for year-round Film Societymembers and $8 for non-members.
