So I saw a film... (you ask whats new?) I see many films, all languages...
but this stayed with me... and the deep haunting desire to share this feeling, this cinematic experience with each one of you... all of you; and hope you will watch the film and share it with others...

Directed by one of my all time fav actors Sean Penn http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000576/ ...  (this is his 4th film as director - u gotta see the pledge and the crossing guard, i havent seen the indian runner, will rent it soon) - as for sean penn, who can forget MYSTIC RIVER... for which he earned best actor Oscar...  Some actors make brilliant directors, i think ajay devgan did a great job with U ME & HUM... i believe shahrukh khan will be a great director...  it will be something big, something huge... Back to "Into The Wild'... the movie got 2 Oscar nominations...

INTO THE WILD - PLOT SUMMARY
Based on a true story. After graduating from Emory University in 1992, top student and athlete Christopher McCandless abandoned his possessions, gave his entire $24,000 savings account to charity and hitchhiked to Alaska to live in the wilderness. Along the way, Christopher encounters a series of characters who shape his life.
 
 
 
 
 
 
So rent the DVD - have a drink - and enjoy... lose yourself... The lyrical poetic feel to the film is beyond your control... and you will thank the mysterious power around you for that... not often a movie can move you so much... I would like to see someone make such a personal film in Bollywood... Sudhir Mishra can do that... i loved his khoya khoya chand... perhaps the most underrated film of 2007...
