Thanks for subscribing to this list for SF bay area film people. I
need to send out this reminder because it's been awhile and there
seems to be some confusion about what this list is for.

This list IS for:
*Announcements of film screenings, film festivals and film related
events in the San Francisco Bay Area.
* Bay Area filmmakers - or people shooting in the area - and other
film folk seeking to connect with others for their projects - actors,
writers, editors and so on.
*Film festivals that could be of interest to bay area filmmakers and
actors to submit their work
*Any other LOCAL film related announcements (seeking to form social
groups, events, gatherings that have to do with film and film/TV
actors, upcoming screenings)
* Seeking advice about film - production, writing, acting, cameras,
editing - from bay area filmmakers. Responses should be sent directly
to the person.

What it is NOT for:
Anything else - not for selling your product, not for just general
chit-chat, not for spamming, not for people in Jacksonville Florida
shooting an ad needing models, not for anything else not part of the
list above.

I don't mean to sound cranky but believe me without a moderator for
this group your inboxes would be filled with very off topic stuff.
Please read the introduction to the group and the list above. If it
doesn't fit what you're interested in or trying to accomplish, you can
leave the group. If you're a repeated offender, you'll be removed from
the group. But I don't have much time these days so I'd rather not
have to weed through ads and off topic emails. Thanks.

If you have any questions at all feel free to email me privately. (And
if you're interested in taking on the moderation of this group,
definitely email me. ;-) )
