Rajni is a Grandpa!

The reigning superstar of Tamil cinema Rajnikanth became a grandfather
as his daughter, Aishwarya delivered a baby boy on Tuesday Oct 10 at
5.10pm.

Aishwarya and husband actor Dhanush have become proud parents after
she gave birth at the Apollo hospital in Chennai. Dhanush who was
shooting for Thiruvilayadal in Ooty rushed to the city after he heard
the news. Later he told the media: "It is one of the happiest days in
my life. I'm thrilled to be a dad".

Rajnikanth and wife Latha visited the hospital immediately after they
heard the news. Dhanush's parents Kastooriraja and his wife was also
at the hospital. It was a normal delivery and the baby weighed 3 kilos.

Meanwhile the superstar has taken a break from his busy Sivaji shoot
for Diwali holidays. He plans to spent time with his family in Chennai
for the next two weeks.
