some great careers and obtain tips for forging your own career in show biz!
WARREN ETHEREDGE -- Moderator
Warren Etheredge is a founding member of TheWarrenReport and the man behind
the
name. In addition to curating, organizing and hosting all events for
TheWarrenReport, Warren is the Coordinator/Curator for the 1 Reel Film Festival
(at
Bumbershoot) - the nation's best-attended celebration of short films. Warren
is also one of the founding faculty of TheFilmSchool, Seattle`s populist
response to the Sundance Institute. From 1997-2000, he worked for Cinema
Seattle-producers and organizers of the Seattle International Film Festival.
For two
years, he was the Host and Curator of Sneak, a monthly screening series
on independent and arthouse flicks. Warren has also appeared in four feature
films (but, please, don't call him an actor.)
Panelists:
JENNIFER ROTH -- Producer, Line Producer
Jennifer Roth cut her film production teeth as the secretary to Ismael
Merchant and James Ivory in the Merchant Ivory offices in New York City in 1990.
She went on to production coordinate and production manage numerous films such
as Bad Lieutenant, Smoke, Deadman, The Crow and Lawn Dogs. She served as
line producer/co-producer on the films Chinese Coffee (directed by Al Pacino),
Black and White (directed by James Toback), Songcatcher (directed by Maggie
Greenwald), and Dreaming of Julia (produced by Harvey Keitel). Roth and her
husband have owned a vacation home on Seattleās Capitol Hill since 1992 and
permanently moved to Seattle from New York in 2000. Since becoming a full time

the board of the Northwest Film Forum and was the co-producer of the Fly

JOHN HELDE -- Writer, Director, Producer
John Helde got his start in film with the New York documentary-makers
Laysles Films (Gimme Shelter, Salesman). His editing credits include
independent

Campbell, Julie Delpy) and Bringing it All Back Home, a documentary by director
Chris Eyre (Smoke Signals, Skins). In 2003 John's documentary Halibut Heads
