1) Northwest Asian American Film Festival 2003 tickets are on sale! Buy
them now and get a discount compared to the prices at the door. See

2) We're getting some special guests at the festival -- Kim Ima, the
ROBOT
STORIES producer, is coming for the Sunday panel discussion and the
closing
night program, and on opening night, we have Don Young from NAATA plus
actor and "Angry Little Asian Girl" creator Lela Lee! Get those tickets
now!

3) Go make history and buy BETTER LUCK TOMORROW and CHARLOTTE SOMETIMES
on
DVD!

4) 5th Avenue Theater is offering friends of NWAAFF 10% off tickets to
see
the production of FLOWER DRUM SONG that's starting on October 7. See

5) Luna Bar is sponsoring LUNAFEST, a touring collection of women's
short
films that's making a stop at REI. The program includes Grace Lee's
BARRIER

9) Do you want to volunteer for the festival? Volunteers enjoy some
pretty
nice perks like free admittance to screenings (space permitting) and

things like being able to get into a secret screening of BETTER LUCK
TOMORROW last week with director Justin Lin in attendance! Some folks
