Dom,
This bounced twice, but I figured that, like mine, you get a pretty full e-mail
box...

Long time, no hear. How are you?
I received your message in my e-mail about the meeting. Don't know for sure if I
can make it or not, but I do have an interest on how to get some readers
together to read my script from my e-book "The Magistrate" or for a reader to
simply read the e-book on tape. My web site, TemplateofTime.com has this Sci.
Fi. if you care to check it out.
A friend of mine, Laurie George, a producer up here from L.A. and now teaching
at Olympic College, has gone over my scripts in class so they are pretty much
ready. There is one feature-length, and several sequels taken from the e-book.
This sequel business could go on forever!
Anyway, if you know of anybody or hear of anything that might help get the
preparation for a good pitch started, let me know. Just have someone e-mail me
and send a quote for their work. Some mature voices will be necessary,
especially for the narrator; he needs to sound like God!
Hope all is running smoothly for you and I am looking forward to seeing you
again, soon.
Later,
Chandler

When? September 20th from 5-7pm
Where? At the Seattle Film Institute.

Our next bi-monthly meeting will be held in a new venue - the
Seattle Film Institute. Special thanks to the SFI for allowing our
group to meet there. The speaker will be... me, Dom Zook! I'll be
discussing casting and acting needs in independent films, what to
look for in contracts and how to secure good actors for your films.
I'll have a Q&A section where I'll be happy to try and answer any
questions about the industry and specifically Seattle.
After the speaker we'll have a short networking session followed by
another moderated critique! The last one was a big hit and allowed
many filmmakers to not only talk about their art but also help each
other grow as artists.
Submit your information here, and don't forget to bring the actual
film on the 20th!:

Remember clips can be up to 7 minutes long and we take things first
come, first served! Forms are available at the meeting as well. Join
us for free snacks! And remember, it costs nothing to join
Indieclub, you don't even have to be a member to come to the
meetings. It's free, fun and informative!
E-mail me at
domz@... for any more information. Hope to
see you there!
