NORTHWEST ASIAN AMERICAN FESTIVAL presents
4 PAIRS OF MEN'S SHORTS

The International District Street Fair is upon us, and Northwest Asian American
Theatre invites you to join us for a wild collection of short films by four
Asian American writer/directors. Sushi chefs gone wild, martial arts mayhem,
midnight cowboys, and more! And best of all, it's absolutely FREE!

Location:
Theatre Off Jackson (below Wing Luke Asian Museum)
409 7th Ave. S
Seattle, WA 98104

Dates and times:
Saturday, July 12 - 7pm and 8pm
Sunday, July 13 - 4:30pm and 5:30pm

Program runs just under one hour.

Doors open 15 minutes before the first show on each day and remain open
throughout the program. Feel free to come and go as you please anytime during
the screenings.

"Japanese Cowboy"
Written and directed by Michael Kang.
2000, 3 minutes, MiniDV color.
The New 42nd Street's got a new Midnight Cowboy. Ride along with the Japanese
Cowboy on his rodeo of love.

"A Waiter Tomorrow"

1998, 12 minutes, 16mm color.
When two sushi waiters are pushed to the limit...Only justice can be served.

"Kung Pao Chicken"

A sushi chef gives advice to the lovelorn, but his advice stinks!

"Profiles in Science"
Written and directed by Wes Kim.
2002, 5 minutes, super-8/computer animation.
A humorous look at the work of Dr. Albert Chung, an unsung pioneer in the field
of time-lapse photography.

"Why It's a Good Thing"
Written and directed by Wes Kim.
2002, 3 minutes, super-8 B&W.
People often assume all Asians know martial arts...but what if they really did?

"Mr. Lee"
Written and directed by Greg Pak.
1994, 6 minutes, 16mm color.
A Korean American mother discovers an African American man in her daughter's
bed.

"Cat Fight Tonight"
Written and directed by Greg Pak.
2001, 4 minutes, MiniDV color.
Crazy man. Crazy woman. Confused cat.
