Backdraft Films is pleased to announce its first annual screenwriting
competition. This competition is designed to give aspiring
screenwriter's another opportunity to be recognized and potentially
have their screenplay developed from script to screen. The main goal of
the competition is to uncover the best, unproduced screenplays and, in
collaboration with the writer, help develop and produce them into
commercially viable films.

The First Place Grand Prize winner will receive $1000 CASH and the
first opportunity to have their script optioned and considered for
production. Although only one will receive a cash prize, we will work
hard to support all talented writers that enter our contest.... not
just the winning screenplay.
