Pull Date: June 29th
You are invited to the next Seattle Indieclub meeting:
Date: Saturday, June 29th, 2002
Time: 7:00 pm
Location: 911 Media Arts, Seattle
Address: 117 Yale N., Seattle, WA 98109
The speaker for June 29th will be Karen Lane, managing director of
Theatre Puget Sound. TPS, along with being an unbrella organization
for the many Seattle theatre companies, is striving to help local
indies through their services including stages and casting space.
They have a lot of services to offer movie makers and are looking
forward to talking about them.
We will also be screening a new short film by local filmmaker Kevin
Malin entitled, "The Story of Colette." In the spirit of the French
New Wave, Malin has produced a highly inventive tale. Join us for its
World Premiere!
After the speakers we will screen shorts submitted by YOU! We accept
shorts/scenes/trailers to screen at the meeting on VHS, DV and 16mm
(if you tell us in advance). Submit shorts at the desk when you walk
in to the facility. Pieces should be under 7 minutes. If they are
over that please email Kelly in advance and we will try to open a
time for the short at another meeting.
Indieclub Seattle is the leading arm of this international group of
filmmakers. Begun in Seattle, Indieclub continues to work as a
networking source for independent filmmakers through its use of
online forums and monthly meetings. www.indieclub.com
