You should check out Movie Magic Screenwriter 2000. It's great,
instructive screenplay formatting software. I recently used it and
found it to be very user-friendly.

Also, check out "The Screenwriter's Workbook," by Syd Field. It's a
great step-by-step guide to writing screenplays.
