Hello group,
I just ran across your group and it seemed like this might be something
interesting to check out. I'm Arvell Jones and I have VP of
Development for CoLours TV The Multicultural Network on the Dish
Network as well as other cable and broadcast stations around the
country, we're in more than 16 Million homes across the US. I wish to
engage in discussions on; creating original content as well as
bringing awareness for the network.
The network mainly airs original content and is broadcast 24/7, and
carries Anime from 10pm to midnight 7 nights a week. It seems like you
might have content that could be interesting to air.
Read more about it at http://www.coloursTV.com, read more about me
under the "team link on the networks website or google me.
If members have some interesting projects produced I'd like to chat.
Feedback?
Hey guys,
Just wanted to let everyone know that there was an article posted

Hello...
I'm not the guy who had anything to do with the making of the film,
but it's one of my favorite Star Wars fanfilm series. The info is
here...
http://www.spiritsoftheforce.com
It's a three-chapter series and two have been finished thus far.
They feature Kyle Katarn and Jan Ors, the main characters from the
Dark Forces/Jedi Knight videogames, along with the Jaina Solo
character from the Expanded Universe fiction.
VERY highly recommended! I hope you guys can convince Joel Cranson
(the director and the actor behind Kyle Katarn) to allow the movies
to play on your great new online showcase!
I intend to approach you guys about my own fanfilm project once it's
done... ;)

Hello gang,
Just wanted to let everyone know that there is new content in our
lineup. I've added various items including the new Tales of the
Seventh Fleet "A Touch of Home", Dr. Who "Tyranny of the Daleks",
S.E.E.D. (based on aliens vs predator theme), Patient J (Batman), A
very funny spoof of the Capitol One Credit Card commercials by Mike
Kane, as well as a few trailers and other various clips.
I appreciate all the submissions. Some I was able to include, and some
not. Though some of the ones I was not able to include did show
promise and might find a place in our broadcast in the future. Though,
don't be afraid to keep bugging me if your submission didn't make it.
You never know.
Some of you may have noticed our website having some issues. Though we
couldn't figure out the exact cause, we went ahead and made the move
to a new host (and as such, servers) that we had been planning for a
while. The new servers should not have the same issues and our site
should be without problems (knock on wood).
I have been seeing a very significant rise in the number of viewers in
the last couple of weeks. I appreciate any of you who might be
spreading the word around. We are also posting word about sci-fan tv
at as many places as possible.
We also have a MySpace profile in it's beginning stages.
the link is http://www.myspace.com/scifantv
Feel free to add our profile to your friends list if you have a
myspace profile.
We also have a video posted on YouTube
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lT5b9LcJTHg
Check it out and we would appreciate a rating while you are there.
We have some big plans in the works and hope to continue growing as we
have in recent weeks. Get the word out about us in any way you can. I
can't promise prizes, but you will have our neverending thanks. :)
Peace,
Ray
I saw your message on the Fan Films Forum and downloaded the player.. it's a great idea and is a very practical way of supporting fan films. I hope it's a big success!
We've been working on a Doctor Who fan film called "Tyranny of the Daleks" and the first two episodes can be downloaded from our website at :
I've got two:
For a low quality version, go to youtube.com/brokeninfinityfilms.
While you're there, also check out "Embraceable You."
A higher quality version is located at crowcollcity.com under
"submissions" and them "films."

Check out http://www.startrekofgodsandmen.com/
It is a three part webisode mini series starring Nichelle Nichols
(Uhuru), Walter Koenig (Chekov), Alan Ruck, Tim Russ, Garret Wang, and
others.
I am quite excited by this. I am not sure of the details of the story
or anything else, but the fact that original actors from the show are
involved makes it appealing.
In other news, Walter Koenig is also due to appear in Star Trek: New
Voyages in an episode entitled "To Serve All My Days". He will be
reprising his role as Mr. Chekov from the original series. The episode
is due to be premiered tomorrow (Sep 8) in honor of the 40th
anniversary of the first airing of Star Trek in Sep of 1966. We
currently have the trailer for the episode in our rotation and once
the full version is available, we will rush to get in on.
I have also put some new trailers into rotation for the Star Trek fan
series "U.S.S. Hathaway". It is set around the same timeframe of Star
Trek II and III and it's first episode is entitled "Genesis" which
deals with (yep, you guessed it) the Genesis Project. The trailers
look wonderful and the crew seem to be doing a stellar job with it. I
can hardly wait until the full episode is released.
I am currently reviewing roughly 40 films for possible broadcast. I
hope to be done and have them ready for broadcast by next week. So
far, most of them are quite good. Some have been floating around the
net for quite some time it seems, and some are new. I am amazed more
and more and the quality of work going into fan films these days.
Well, I do hope everyone had a great Labor Day weekend. Thanks for
watching and for your support.
Peace,
Ray
Hey everyone,
Well, it's Friday and the beginning of Labor Day weekend. I hope that
everyone has a fun and safe time.
We changed servers this week and made a small update to the client so
that it would point to the new server. We will also be making another
change soon. You can still use enjoy Sci-Fan TV with the client you
already have so there is no need to download the new one yet. Although
with the next change, you will be asked to download the new one and
directed to our site to do so.
I also decided to change up our playlist a bit to shake things up a
bit. The crew at Hidden Frontier just released the newest episode,
"Hearts and Minds" and I made sure to get it into our rotation with
haste. It is sure to please all of you Hidden Frontier fans out there.
I am also on the lookout for new content. If you, or anyone you know,
has a film to be broadcast, let me know. Also, if you have already
contacted me and have not seen your film in rotation, contact me again
and I will work to get it on. There may have been an issue of me being
unable to download it and I may need to seek other means to get it.
Take care of yourselves and , again, have a fun and safe weekend.
Ray
I thought you were heading that way, but I just wanted to check. Thanks for the info, Ray. :-)

Part of our problem is a shortage of content. Though there is plenty out there to be shown, securing permission is not always easy.
We are working to make Sci-Fan TV more like a TV station where we have a regular schedule and make that schedule available on our website. So, bear with us and we will do what we can.

We have posted the new blooper reel for Episode 4 of Season 7 "Past
Sins" into our rotation. Between this and the preview we recently
posted, the new episode is shaping up to be one of the best yet. Be

Thanks for adding the preview for the new episode. I got a chance to
watch the new preview this weekend and I am ready for the new episode
to come out. Thanks.
I am ready for the new hidden frontier episode to come out. I have
watched most of other episodes and really want to see the new one. Are
you guys going to have this one on the player soon?
I'd like to welcome our existing members making the transition from
our old forums as well as our new members just discovering us. We hope
you find the Yahoo! Group to your liking.
With our new discussion group in place and our new website nearing
completion, things are starting to get exciting. As some of you may
know, we recently gave our content a good facelift and it shows when
watching our broadcast. We are also planning some very big events in
the near future that we think all of you will like. Actually, we don't
think you will like them...you'll love them.
Enjoy!!!
