Actually with Almost Famous.... sarah was on location for little over a week and
began filming.  At that point no one thought that carmon's movie was going to be
a success and send the leading actress into the spotlight.  sarah left the film
because she did not feel she could protray that character as the director
wanted.  carmon wanted the character to be the life of the party, to walk into
any room and all attention turn to her, to light up a room for say.  that was
the reason sarah pulled out of the film.  now after the fact that the film came
out and kate hudson became famous sarah stated that she did not regret leaving
the film, because she does not want the hollywood attention that kate began to
receive.
 
i am pretty sure i have a long long intervew at home about all of this, i want
to say it was when sarah was pull on the cover of Interview Magazine but i may
be wrong....
