"The Promise" already opened in big cities on May 5. It did not do
well in the box office, so you may want to check it is still showing.
It is supposed to expand to other cities next friday.

the list of the cities that open on each day. As for the theaters, you
have to check with the local listings such as Yahoo! Movies or your
local newspaper.
