Wow, I wish we had something like that around here. We do have a
little theater that is showing a couple of Kurosawas films this year,
but it's about two hours away. I'll probably anyhow. :)

I agree. The devotion to his family was something I really, really
liked about that character - particularly since they were both little
girls. (Yes, I was a daddy's girl, anybody got a problem with that?
Lol.)

I was lucky enough to see TS on the big screen as well, at the same
little theater I mentioned above. Have picked up the DVD and watched
the extras but not the movie again (yet). Might have to do that soon,
your review is bringing back pleasant memories. :)
