I finally watched the Twilight Samurai   Message List

Yes indeed,
I finally watched the critically-acclaimed movie.

It was a movie show organized by the Japan Foundation here in Kuala
Lumpur and the theme for February was discovering the other side of
the samurai. Every month the Japan Foundation organizes 2 movies to
be shown and last Saturday, we were lucky to be treated with After
the Rain (Mifune Toshiro-san was in it - too bad I missed that one
though), followed by Twilight Samurai. What a wonderful performance
by the actors! As much as I am not a sentimental person, I must say
that even I felt the caring and tenderness that the two main
characters felt for each other. The love with which Tasogare
(Twilight - by Sanada-san, of course) explained how much delight he
found in watching his girls grow up - like flowers blooming in the
field, if I'm not mistaken - fills my heart with warmth.

I definitely recommend it to my friends who havent yet watched this
movie. It's a wonderful look at the constant internal struggle
between being an effective engine that gets work done and the calm
soul of a human being.

Have great days ahead!
Faz
