Satang, would you mind sharing more about "The Promise"? I'm in a part of the USA where foreign films don't get much distribution, so I don't know when I'll finally get to see it. And anybody else who's seen it and wants to share (or about "The White Countess," for that matter, it might not play here either), please feel free to jump in and give us your impressions of either film. Just write "Spoiler Alert" before you reveal any big plot details, so those who have a chance to see the films and don't want to know the plots can avoid reading about them as needed. :)
