The only thing I have heard is that the release date is Nov. 4. No
country is specified, so I am assuming it is for US and UK.

I don't know if you followed news from Cannes Film Festival in May,
but there have been lots of news (video clips and photos) there
related to Sanada-san. (WuJi and AEGIS) If you have not seen them,
check them out on HSE News section. A bunch of exciting new pics
are up on Jamie's site as well!

This movie that I mentioned, AEGIS, was marketed in Cannes and
received offers from 32 countries "including US". So we may be able
to watch that one eventually as well!! It seems like a REALLY good
one, according to the press who watched the preview. Sanada-san
plays an officer of Japanese Self Defense Forces and fight against
terrorists, but it is not a simple military/action movie - human
hearts and minds are the center of the story. (I read the original
novel, and IT WAS SO GOOOOOOD!!)

So do you mind if I count you as one vote for the US, who want to
watch AEGIS in the US??? There is an official blog for AEGIS and I
sometimes post comments on it - mainly asking the producers to show
it overseas. The production staff actually read and reply to the
people's comments, so it is really exciting. If I gather enough
votes, I am planning to post the number on AEGIS blog, so the
producer can see it.
