I used a Judo Gi for mine. I don't recommend it.
The fabric is almost like canvas so it doesn't rip
with throws & stuff. Get the white Karate Gi (without
patches) and dye it to a light beige (or tea dye it). I
used judo pants that fit great into my boots. The ones
in the movies look like non-ironed dockers - pockets
& all. The cloak you can get (if you have $250)
from Chivalry Sports. Look for a male traveler's robe.
It's a monk's robe, but the jedi don't tie a rope
around the waist like in the picture. The sleeves aren't
quite long enough, but the hood hangs down to your
waist so it should be fine. Hope this
