I'm totally lovin' him..........he's one of the best actors on the whole show;
many of them totally overact as far as I'm concerned.......I still prefer the
naturalness of OLTL.  ATWT is sooooo different, but I always watch Roger!
And I love Al and Marcie......can't wait to see what the future holds there!

I have been a member of this palce but never really posted, but I
love I can find a place we can gush about Roger.

you know this week is RH b-day the 13 of september.

Amd maybe you know Dim, well she and a few more of us are holding a

Yes, and it sounds like they have big plans for our Roger!! BTW, SOD
has a rather large article about Roger/Paul in their latest issue now
on newstands. I wasn't able to read the entire article while in line
at K-Mart, but it looks very good. Paul is going to have quite the
change in character! Woo hoo!

   well, there was no *glimpse* in the previews for next week.....just some woman
whispering "Paul" and hugging him............someone in a wheelchair, but that
couldn't be him because it looked like "Paul" was standing when the woman was
hugging him.........gonna watch the whole ep now and see if there's
anything........I was watching the special 4th of July ep of OLTL...it was
pretty entertaining.  Does ATWT do specials like OLTL does??

     well, I've been watching this show all week (still taping OLTL), and imho, I
don't like this show very much.....but I'm hoping Roger will make me like
it...........I don't care for the characters, the storylines, the
acting...........it's just really difficult to watch a show I've NEVER watched. 
I think OLTL (and AMC...although I am NOT liking AMC these days........*sigh*)
both have better looking actors, better acting....(and as far as I'm concerned
the storylines are duplicates of many others I've followed on AMC and OLTL)
maybe it's because I've been watching them for like 30 years?!......LOL!! 
but.....I'm giving it a chance only for Roger.........ATWT also has the ONE
actor whom I've disliked like forever (my Mom was a fan of ATWT and she always
teased me about my dislike for him.........don't know his name but he plays Dr.
Dixon I think......can't stand that man........) just hope Roger can make me a
*FAN*....lol!.........hoping to become a fan..........

   Okay, Hootie. I'm gonna disagree with you here. I think there is a
   reason that ATWT has won the Emmy for best writing two years in a
   row. I find the storylines fresh and exciting! Probably because they
   aren't the same five or six rotating soap writers that go from soap
   to soap; many have never written for a soap before.

   I haven't been able to watch OLTL since Roger left because of the
   tired writing and silly storylines. I had hoped that Michael Malone
   would breathe new life into the show, but I was sorely disappointed.
   I'm quite eager to see Roger on ATWT! It is much higher in the
   ratings than OLTL, and, therefore, he will have a bigger audience to
   appreciate his talents; and he is in the company of actors who seem
   to all get along and have no preconceived notions about
   his "reputation."

   As for the actors not being as pretty, I'll take substance over looks
   any day. They can all certainly act! And Roger will bring even more
   depth AND looks to the show! It's a win win situation.

   I'll agree with you about Dr. Dixon though. I've never cared for the
   character. Too brusk for my taste and not enough humanity, despite
   being a doctor.

*hehehe*........but those eps are so much fun!  I'm sooo hoping that
Roger gets more airtime than he did on OL; it seems as though Paul is
a pivotal character from what I can glean from reading various
articles and stuff from the ATWT website.  I hope we won't be
disappointed.

Well, my dear Em, we can "agree to disagree"..lol!  It's just so hard
to get into after 30 years of OLTL off and on.  I haven't developed
any connection to the characters I supposed you'd say.  Perhaps over
time and with Roger's help, I'll start to care?  The well business
was done on AMC years ago a couple of times I think and it's very
reminiscent of things from OLTL, I think.  Much of what I've seen is
very similar to other plots/storylines I've seen before.  oh
well....I'll be patient.  Can't wait for tomorrow!!!!

Okay, Hootie. I'm gonna disagree with you here. I think there is a
reason that ATWT has won the Emmy for best writing two years in a
row. I find the storylines fresh and exciting! Probably because they
aren't the same five or six rotating soap writers that go from soap
to soap; many have never written for a soap before.

I haven't been able to watch OLTL since Roger left because of the

well, there was no *glimpse* in the previews for next week.....just some woman
whispering "Paul" and hugging him............someone in a wheelchair, but that
couldn't be him because it looked like "Paul" was standing when the woman was
hugging him.........gonna watch the whole ep now and see if there's
anything........I was watching the special 4th of July ep of OLTL...it was
pretty entertaining.  Does ATWT do specials like OLTL does??

   well, I've been watching this show all week (still taping OLTL), and imho, I
don't like this show very much.....but I'm hoping Roger will make me like
it...........I don't care for the characters, the storylines, the
acting...........it's just really difficult to watch a show I've NEVER watched. 
I think OLTL (and AMC...although I am NOT liking AMC these days........*sigh*)
both have better looking actors, better acting....(and as far as I'm concerned
the storylines are duplicates of many others I've followed on AMC and OLTL)
maybe it's because I've been watching them for like 30 years?!......LOL!! 
but.....I'm giving it a chance only for Roger.........ATWT also has the ONE
actor whom I've disliked like forever (my Mom was a fan of ATWT and she always
teased me about my dislike for him.........don't know his name but he plays Dr.
Dixon I think......can't stand that man........) just hope Roger can make me a
*FAN*....lol!.........hoping to become a fan..........

I have deleted the offensive recently uploaded files and banned
the "member" who sent them. So sorry it took so long, but I was on a
fab vacation! New Orleans, then a cruise to Cozumel!! Can this month
get any better? Oh yeah, if Roger starts ATWT this month, it can!
