Okay, Hootie. I'm gonna disagree with you here. I think there is a
reason that ATWT has won the Emmy for best writing two years in a
row. I find the storylines fresh and exciting! Probably because they
aren't the same five or six rotating soap writers that go from soap
to soap; many have never written for a soap before.

I haven't been able to watch OLTL since Roger left because of the
tired writing and silly storylines. I had hoped that Michael Malone
would breathe new life into the show, but I was sorely disappointed.
I'm quite eager to see Roger on ATWT! It is much higher in the
ratings than OLTL, and, therefore, he will have a bigger audience to
appreciate his talents; and he is in the company of actors who seem
to all get along and have no preconceived notions about
his "reputation."

As for the actors not being as pretty, I'll take substance over looks
any day. They can all certainly act! And Roger will bring even more
depth AND looks to the show! It's a win win situation.

I'll agree with you about Dr. Dixon though. I've never cared for the
character. Too brusk for my taste and not enough humanity, despite
being a doctor.

the ONE actor whom I've disliked like forever (my Mom was a fan of
ATWT and she always teased me about my dislike for him.........don't
know his name but he plays Dr. Dixon I think......can't stand that
man........) just hope Roger can make me a
*FAN*....lol!.........hoping to become a fan..........
