I caught the tail end of the Biography Channel's show on Dana and was
sadened by the details of her life. As someone of her age, I grew up
watching Different Strokes and secretly developed a crush
on "Kimberly". Who would not find Dana attractive, she probably stole
the heart of many young boys at the time who regularly watched this
program. I was shocked to find out that she had passed away following
that horrible interview on the Stern show. I guess I must have heard
about it when it happened in 1999 but watching it the other day made it
all a very harsh reality. It was like finding out that your high
school sweatheart died, it had an effect on me.

To Dana, may your soul find the peace and acceptance that you so
desperately searched for but did not find here.

To other Dana fans and secret admirers, may you find peace of mind
knowing that her suffering is over.
