I found some PVC fittings and angled the backside to the shape of the dome.  I'm going to install purple UV lights behind them.  I talked to Matt Busch and he explained that the R7 had some sort of 'mechanism' to short out nearby astromechs, so I kinda made these into that device!  No other reference info as to what they are!

 

I still have to cut out for the front and rear logics on the right hand side of the dome.
