I'll be honest with you, I don't know anyone in the 501st. (Just an R2 guy right now.) I'm surprised that they get anything "free" from the Convention folks, as I personally know the guy who handles the personality guest requests and handles their contracts and travel arrangements.  Marvel's always asking for free booth space and they've turned them down!

 

Since I've already signed my contract and paid for the booth, I'll see if this would be something we could work out in the future.  I'd love to have the local garrison get involved in my local R2 BBQ events too!
