I’m back
from vacation. Just want to give an update that the shop expects to have
prototypes to me by the 11th. If they are good I will likely start
sending invoices out. Run closes July 16th, payments will likely be
due by the 19th, so be prepared.
READ EVERYTHING! ORDERING
INSTRUCTIONS BELOW! Prices Finalized! (Reservation
List below. If
you sent an email and are not on the list below, then either I did not get
your email or you have not followed the instructions for reservation, thus I was unable to
process your request)
I have the following Quantities
reserved so far, 70 orders total:
Knurled Hose
Fittings:
90 Sets
Knurled Hose Retention Nut and
Plug: 63 Sets
Brass
Hoses:
64
Sets (I am ordering enough for the
price break, I will clear these out over time I’m sure)
Knurled Hose Fittings,
Knurled Nuts, Hose retention plugs, and Brass foot cables! A complete
foot cable solution!

Before I go any further: SEND
NO MONEY yet!
I have not sent out
confirmations to anyone who has placed an order yet.
I am waiting on the final
prototypes to arrive and get approved.

There are 3 options to this
run.
A. Knurled Hose Fittings – Aluminum – Just
like past runs, to JAG specs. You will get 8 Knurled Hose fittings by
themselves, nothing else. Price is $20.
B. Hose and fitting retention set – Aluminum
– newly designed pieces. You will get a set of 8 Knurled Nuts that match
the fittings, and a set of 8 Hose plugs which can be used to secure your hoses
in place. The plugs are hollow to thread wiring through, and have a outer
thread to screw into the included nut as well. See attached part render
photo…I’ll try to get this posted somewhere to see today. Price is
$40.
C. Braided Brass Hoses – 20” sink hoses in
braided brass – no need to paint, just cut the ends off to length and you
are set. Set of 4. Price is $12.
Please
Note: A and B and C are mutually exclusive items. A is the outer fitting set, B
is the new nut and plug set, and C is a set of hoses.
1 order of all three (A,B,C) is enough for 1 astromech.
Shipping and Handling will be determined, but should not
exceed $20 for a full set, US or Intl. This will cover my Paypal fees,
packaging costs, and the actual postage to anywhere. I will only ship
complete orders…so if you order all 3 options and I’m waiting on
one of them to come in, your order will be on hold until it is complete to
ship.
One
more thing:
A
and C are the pieces people see.
B
is a nice to have, but you can get by with hardware store nuts and plugs. Just
might be some "work" involved in getting the right fit. :) Oh,
the horror. I designed B as a drop in alternative that will also not
block the hose, so you can thread cables through... But if you are using some
of the motor setups out there you may already have direct access to your feet
from the batt box. The decision to buy this piece (B) needs to be based
on some research of what you plan for your feet.
This run will be open until
July 16th. I will finalize pricing before July 1st,
but I’m fairly confident the above will stay the same.
Reservation and
Payment: READ THIS CAREFULLY!
To get in on this run:
Send an email to me at
Doug dot Olson @ StickMonkey dot
com (be sure to translate that properly…)

Once the prototype is
approved, I will begin taking payments.

If you plan to pay via MO, I
need the email to contact you at in your reservation email.

how many I can safely get in a box yet.

I will pay the shop on Monday
the 16th for the machined parts and specify the order quantities at
that time.
The Hoses will also be
ordered at that time.
