Having problems with message search?
Well, I am close to finishing my R2, so during that time I discovered what I work well with...and what works well with me. I think I am going to work mostly with aluminum, that is if my budget allows for me to anyway. I think the details are much sharper and, with a good self etching primer, it holds paint the best.Â
As far as the coloration of my droid goes, it will be all black with red detailing. Of course the triangular eye in red, and either a chrome or clear dome. And as far as which color paints and which brands...I haven't decided that yet.

Hey Gary,
I'm working on an R7 as well... an R7-T1 — think lots of black with minimal green details. We all love Artoo, but I really like seeing non-blue-and-white droids too.
Any plans on the paint, or what materials you're planning on using?
