My condolences on your father's passing, April. I didn't know that
cyhaus.com was his domain name. Your plan for it sounds like a great idea,
and being related to you, I can believe everything you say about him.
Congratulations on the job. Your huge news makes me feel small. I think it
would be cool to work off-site, but for the Smithsonian Environmental
Research Center. That way, it would be the Smithsonian Environmental
Research Off-Center.

Subject: Re: [PrincessBride] Congratulations April
Hi everyone,
Sorry I've been so silent lately... I've had a lot going on. First, I did
get my PhD... yay! It was pretty cool at the graduation ceremony b/c Bill
Clinton and Bush Sr. spoke, and I was in the front row, so I got some
pretty cool pictures!!!
Then in sad news, my father passed away from complications due to cancer
at the end of May. We had only just found out about his cancer in
December, so it all went very fast. It was really rough on my family as my
Dad was one of the nicest, most wonderful people I've ever known. If any
of you are at all interested, you could check out my father's website
(www.cyhaus.com) which has some really cool stuff on it. We're going to
eventually make it in memorarium. Actually it was his site that got my
"Princess Bride" page running (wow, way back in 1996, I think it was!) and
where it's been housed ever since (at his domain).
And now most recently, we are in the process of selling our house in NH
and moving to Annapolis, Maryland area. I got a job (hurrah!!) at the
Smithsonian Environmental Research Center. Pretty exciting!
Anyway, that's all the most recent news. I hope everyone else is doing
well and hopefully I'll have more time to keep in touch.
Ta ta for now!
