I have given up trying to understand people who "don't get it", and merely
dismiss them as having a less-refined sense of humor, or that they are just not
intelligent enough to understand subtle humor.
How many Disney cartoons (or old Bugs Bunny for that matter) have humor on
the level of kids AND adults? Most of the people I know (and love!) don't see or
get most of that.
Monty Python, Far Side and B.C. cartoons, even old movies like Young
Frankenstein or The Pink Panther.
Mention the term Sarchasm. SarCHASM is the gulf that divides those with
sarcastic wit and those withOUT!
