First of all THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH! You have all been SO helpful!
Dee you are wonderful! I think you have completely solved my crisis!
I can't believe I didn't think of that before! I'm such a ditz.
Also I have never used fray check before and THANK GOD such a product
exits! I have always burned the edges of synthetic fabric or used wax
but never on this much fabric. I was kind of wondering how I would
make this work. I enjoy the project of sewing but I'm not very
experienced and my sewing machine SUCKS so maybe I'll be contacting
you in the future ;) I think I'm about ready to order fabric and then
I'm off to work on the skirt.

Hey Heather, don't wait for a boyfriend to go as Christine. Guy
friends work just as well and honestly they work a little better. I
have a lot of theatre friends and have found that the love of my life
is totally the opposite so for me my friends are usually a better bet
on this kind of stuff. If I get my costume completed in a timely
fashion I might start bugging my guy friends to be my platonic date
for the night. Lord only knows that I'll be the one constructing the
costume so I'll need plenty of time if that'll work. Chances are
though Heather you're not going to find many straight men who are
willing to dress up as the Phantom on Halloween, if I have a "date"
for the night he'll most likely be one of my gay friends.

Thanks again everyone!

I have no Phantom to go w/ either!!! Maybe we both can get blessed w/
handsome boyfriends and he''ll agree to the idea. Well, gotta go. Ciao
and email me back and tell me if that idea helps. God bless and good
luck w/ that dress.
