Re: [phantomcostumes] Re: Hey there Sarah!!!! (from a fellow member)

Thanks. It's always nice to know about sales. :) I don't use online fabric
stores much. I'll probably check the local stores first, and then if I don't
find anything I'll visit denverfabrics.com.

Hi Grace,

It's good to see another Chaney fan out there. ;) I've loved that costume for
years, and every time I watch the movie I want to make it. I might wear it for
Halloween if I get it done it time, but that is doubtful. I really want to
finish it by December 6 though. I've been working on "The Jewel Song" (Ah! Je
ris de me voir) from Faust for quiet a while, and near the end of the semester I
will be singing it for a recital here at school. So I would love to have the
dress to perform the song in. I'm looking for a different pattern now, but if I
can't find one I'll try to make the two I have work. I know one thing for sure,
I'm definitely doing a trial run of the dress with cheap fabric before I make
the real thing. I'll let you know when I know more. More pictures are being
added as we speak. :)

it was a pink dress but looked MORE like the movie one than anything
else. Shall I look it up again for you? I can't remember which
magazine I saw it in but I will faithfully look for it for you if you
want. Email me back and we shall chat more about this if you should
so desire. Ciao!!!
