Not even close to true. I guess you've forgotten 'The West Wing' already,
which ran until mid '06. Her latest film "Lost Dream" is in post, for '08
release. She's also been busy with several causes.
This summer, rGoldmann wrote (elsewhere):

misdiagnosed with Parkinson's disease, but it turned out to be Progressive
Supranuclear Palsy, or PSP.
Pat is now the national spokesperson for PSP and you can read her and her
father's story on
http://www.psp.org/page/magazine (click on "1st issue" under
2007). <
She also co-stars in the film "Out of Omaha" '07, now airing on Showtime channel
as "California Dreaming", with Dave Foley and Lea Thompson. Today at 6:45am
EST,
and...
Wed, Dec 12, 6:15am
Sun, Dec 16, 6:15am (thanks to my TiVo for finding this one, renamed)
which got many poor reviews on IMDB.com, BTW. But she's definitely still
around, and some of us have heard things about her, even if you haven't.
