As we all know, Pat will be taking over for Janine
Turner on Strong Medicine (on Lifetime), starting one
week from Sunday, on Sunday, September 1st, at 9pm.

Normally, sometime in the time frame of 1-2 weeks be-
fore a new appearance, an actor will make some of the
talk show rounds to promote her new project, and draw
in viewers. It seems almost certain, considering Pat's
wide popularity in her previous role on Home Improve-
ment, and the fact that she's replacing the star of
Strong Medicine, that she'll show up _somewhere_ during
this time. The question is: where, and when?

Pat _did_ do a Press Tour, for the NCTA, back on July
11th, which was picked up by photogs for WireImage,
so she's definitely out promoting things.

Likely possibilities would be: Jon Stewart's Daily Show
(she's been on there twice before, and seems comfortable
with him), the View (after all, Strong Medicine is a
show about women, and by women), and possibly Letterman
or Leno. Or it could be anywhere else, including 60
second spots on ET, Access Hollywood, or Extra. KTLA's
Morning Show is another good bet, since it's close to
home.

I'll certainly be watching (and recording on DVD) when
she arrives on Strong Medicine on September 1st. But I
would hate to miss any of these other appearances, be-
cause that's when she'll have an opportunity to say
something candid, and be herself. Unfortunately, we
have no direct contact with either her agent or manager,
and have no way to know where she'll pop up.

Also, none of the TV search engines can be guaranteed
to come up with hits, because talk shows, and TV news
rags typically don't list all the celebs they're cov-
ering.

So this is just a reminder to keep your eyes open, and
if you come across any info, share it with the group.
(You may want to check in with the group more often
during this time, because advance notice probably won't
have much lead time.)
