A lot of people don't know this, but last summer, several high-
profile promoters approached both Pamela Anderson and Gillian
Anderson, of "X-Files" fame, and arranged to hold a contest wherein
both Andersons would compete against each other in such categories as
acting talent, singing, aerobicizing, ballroom dancing in a famous
designer evening gown, and, in the final event, posing in a very tiny
thong bathing suit.

The contest was to be called, "The Battle of the Sexy Andersons."
Both Pamela and Gillian signed their Jane Hancocks on the dotted
line. But lo and behold, just as contest time came around, Pamela
backed out the week before, giving no reason for her retraction. The
promoters' company soon went into bankruptcy after that so they
couldn't seek legal redress and sue Pamela, but, regardless, they
issued a press release thanking Gillian Anderson for being the
consummate professional.

The question that begs to be answered is: WHAT WAS PAMELA SO SCARED
OF WHEN IT CAME TIME FOR HER TO COMPETE AGAINST GILLIAN "THE X-FILES"
ANDERSON? Could the fact that there are almost twice as many Yahoo!
Groups about Gillian than there are about Pamela have something to do
with it?
